Common types of power heads in CNC machine tools include drilling power heads, tapping power heads, and boring power heads. Regardless of the type, the structure is roughly the same, and the interior is rotated by the combination of the main shaft and the bearing. The bearing needs to be fully lubricated when it rotates, so there are grease nipples on the power head. This is easily overlooked by customers. Under normal use, it should be guaranteed to inject lubricating grease at least once a month and maintain the power head of the machine once, otherwise the bearing wear will be very serious.
The methods to solve the abnormal noise of the power head of the CNC lathes are as follows:
1. The friction plate of the reducer is worn (with high-speed soil rejection type)
2. The shaft or bearing of the power head reducer is damaged
3. The gears of the reducer are seriously worn
4. Too little lubricating oil, reducer overheating
5. The rotational speed of the power head is too high and exceeds the load range
The methods to solve the abnormal noise of the power head of the CNC turning center are as follows:
1. Check the oil quality and oil level of the gear oil of the reducer;
2. If the position of the gear oil is lower than the inspection port after cooling the CNC lathe, the reducer should be refueled; if the gear oil contains iron filings, the reducer should be disassembled to check the gear wear, and cleaned and replaced the gear oil;
3. Check the input shaft and bearings;
4. The reducer with high-speed soil rejection should also consider the friction plate. If the friction plate is burnt or the elastic force of the lubricating greasefly spring is insufficient, abnormal noise will be caused.
5. Reduce the speed of the power head, or replace the high-quality motor.
